you can't tell, but this is us in Rome last September 2005 for "la notte bianca" (the white night) basically all monuments, stores, museums, restaurants,etc stay open all night and there are lots of events and shows all around the city. It is fantastic. Except for last year there was a downpour of rain, we were soaked. But still it was fun. The only major downer was one we got back home on sunday to find that we had left the windows open and our hardwood floors were ruined! (which we didn't repair until july 2006, and we still haven't been asked to pay for that)
