Mirko meets Big Ben. For Mirko's first trip to London, which was during a 13 layover on our way to the States for Christmas, he got to see Big Ben, The Eye of London, The Thames River, Parliment, Westminster Abbey, and Buckingham Palace. But even better then that he got to have a McDonald's hamburger in Piccadilly Circus. After a long walk around town, we went back to the airport were we proceeded to sleep on small benches for the rest of the night before our next flight. Needless to say that 6 foot 4 Mirko was sleeping in about 3 and 1/2 feet of space. All in all, he is no rush to get back to London. On top of the fact that Heathrow decided to keep our luggage for a week. And then British Airways decided to deliver at 4.45 am.
