More Ketchikan - August 2006

Another great thing we did here- we went to a lumberjack show. I sort of competition, US vs. Canada. Very cool, we loved it, and of course they did all this in the pouring rain, fortunately the bleachers were covered. Here is a picture of us and our new lumberjack friends, who we later sat down and had an Alaskan beer with (and the bartender left us the glasses, with an Ididerod picture on it). The guys on the left are the US team, who unfortunately lost, and the guys on the right were the Canadian team. We even meet a lumberJILL, although being the only women there right now, they do not have her compete (not very politcially correct).
