Saturday, December 30th, 2006 Crested Butte, Colorado

Meet our friends Ari, Sue, and Gordie. I have actually known Sue and Ari since Middle School, but we just had the pleasure of meeting Gordie this trip. We were lucky enough to have Ari and Sue take us up to their winter ski cottage in Crested Butte, Colorado. Here we have just finished our first day of ski of the season. We left Crested Butte and skied at MonarchPass, at some 12000 + feet, for some fresh snow. They took Mirko on a short trip out of bounds and up a short hike to another hill, where they tired him out. We also introduced Mirko to BBQ Ribs this night.
