July 9th, Ponza Italy

Now this is a really cool picture. Apart from the fact that this picture was done underwater, it was also taken the day that Italy won the World Cup. That is Mirko you see there on the right holding the flag with yellow fins and mask. I am unfortunately not in the picture, since I was in an open water diver group, and this is a Advanced group.

Fun Facts: Approximately 12 hours after this photo was taken Italy won the World Cup. We watched the game in a random restaurant on our way back from our scuba weekend. We all had Pizza Tri-Colori for dinner (a simple pizza with mozzarella, tomatoe sauce, and basil) to support Italy during the game.

One bad thing: Mirko left his Wings hat (for you non-Detroiters that is = Red Wings) that night in the excitement, he was quite attaced to it.
